In 2018, the “queen of consumption” in the Euro area will be Italy once again (Oxford Economics Data).
Also thanks to the incentive measures implemented by the Government authorities and confirmed for the whole year 2018, with effects at least until the end of 2019, consumption of machines and manufacturing systems in Italy is experiencing a really unprecedented period.
The latest data collected by Studies Dept. & Business Culture of UCIMU confirm that investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, i.e. equipped with digitalisation and interconnection systems, will continue even in the next future.
The trend, which has been positive for three years, has not certainly exhausted its drive yet – on the contrary, it will keep on at least over the next three years, considering the great need for modernisation and upgrade of facilities and production processes.
The digital revolution will do the rest.
The renewal and relaunch of the Italian manufacturing industry has already started and it is established, but there is still a great ferment.
With these premises, 31.BI-MU even more becomes an unmissable event to identify and meet the demand of Italian and foreign users that have just entered the “digital era of machine tools”.
