Machines now buy goods and services autonomously

IPROD – Pad: 13 – Stand: B14

iProd Market Place and Machine Customer is the most innovative business model of Industry 4.0. The solution, conceived by IPROD, takes advantage of the IoT enabling technology of the Alleantia interconnection software embedded in the iProd IoT Tablet and that of the iProd Cloud management software integrated into the iProd MOP (Manufacturing Optimization Platform).

It is an exclusive Industry 4.0 application, which automatically manages the needs generated by the machine, thanks to which the manufacturer of the production asset enables its customer to be able to delegate to the machine the autonomous purchase of as many products (spare parts, consumables, tools, materials) and service as possible. The manufacturer can set certain rules based on the values of the parameters managed by the PLC/CNC, the time of use of the machinery or the predefined thresholds upon occurrence of which the products and services to be purchased are automatically added to the customer’s cart.

Machine Customer is natively interconnected with the contextual iProd Marketplace, which is integrated in real time with the IoT context data of the machine and with the ERP system of the machine manufacturer. It transmits simple notifications that require a few steps for the approval of the procurement process of the end user and the subsequent order confirmation of the manufacturer.

iProd Marketplace is the leading-edge innovation that allows machinery manufacturers, without risk and without any initial cost, to always remain in contact with their customers, suggesting the purchase of appropriate products and services at the right moment in which the need of their supply arises. iProd Marketplace, populated by over 3 million industrial items from various vendors, is natively included within the iProd MOP integrated platform for business management and planning of any sector and size.

The application provides the maximum efficiency of the production asset to optimize the return on investment during the life cycle of the machinery.
