ROSA ERMANDO S.p.A. is pleased to present the new series of Surface Grinding Machines IRON N-CN, equipped with full enclosure and new control unit SIEMENS 840 – D TOUCH SCREEN.
The setting of the working parameters in Teach-In mode, the automatic grinding cycle with setting of rough and fine grinding parameters, the automatic dressing cycle with recovery of wheel wear and the spark-out cycle are among the most distinguishing features of this new model.
For the CN models it is further possible to grinding on multiple planes with different height as well as profiling different shapes on the grinding wheel using several built-in macros.
The use of single piece castings is a peculiarity of ROSA ERMANDO grinding machines. The iron castings are stabilized for twelve months to guarantee a stable machine over the time.
The wheel spindle motor power of 11 kW and a grinding wheel diameter of 400 mm meet even the most exacting grinding applications.
These new machines have been conceived and designed according to a technical focus on simplicity to make the IRON machines fit for a quite varied array of grinding jobs.
ROSA ERMANDO S.p.A. also showcases the series of Rotary-Table Surface Grinding Machines ROTOR. these machines are equipped with full enclosure and a new control unit with fully automated grinding cycle.

The structure used with the new model is conventional. The rotary table is available is two ranges and six different diameters (400, 600, 800, 1000 mm) and (1200 e 1500 mm driven with TORQUE digital motors).
Wheel motor power ranges from 11 kW to 22 kW, grinding wheel diameter goes from 400 to 500 mm to handle even the most demanding grinding requirements.
