Interview with Maurizio Ravelli, Sales Manager of TIESSE ROBOT
Would you tell us about Tiesse Robot?
Tiesse Robot is based in Visano, in the province of Brescia and has been working in the field of robotised automation, in many different industrial sectors, since 1976.
What distinguishes your products?
Know-how, robustness, flexibility and research are our winning cards. We manufacture robots for industrial automation, welding, handling, assembling, painting, palletization and packaging: innovative and customised solutions for industrial automation processes.
How is the Italian market going for you?
Our target market has surely started to grow again in the last period and, as far as Italy is concerned, a considerable boost towards innovation has reached the enterprises in terms of engineering and management of manufacturing processes, thanks to the Industry 4.0 National Plan, issued by the Italian Government, which restarted investments.
What will you exhibit at 31.BI-MU?
At the 2018 edition of BI-MU, we will present the new models of Kawasaki RS Series robots, in particular the RS7N and RS7L robots that are among the best-sellers in our range. On show we will have a bin-picking application, using a RS50N Kawasaki robot for bin-picking of brass distributors, equipped with 3D laser sensor, with machine tool-loading simulation by a RS7L robot with 2D vision system. Moreover, we will display other interesting novelties in the field of robotised welding, our historical sector.
