Active promoter of the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry
DIGITAL INDUSTRIES WORLD
Pad. 9 stand C03A
Digital Industries World is participating in the 34th edition of BI-MU. The association will be present in Hall 9, Stand C03A.
Thanks to its network of member companies, Digital Industries World stands out as an active promoter of the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, with a particular focus on machine builders. As such, its ecosystem could not miss an industry event like BI-MU, alongside many OEM brands that are part of the association.
During the fair, the Digital Industries World community, which represents a constantly evolving market, will offer visitors the chance to explore the main challenges and opportunities of the future industrial landscape, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital twin technology, and cybersecurity—key themes for the global market in the coming years. Through practical demonstrations and presentations from many ecosystem members, visitors will discover new solutions, innovative applications, and fresh perspectives, building on the experience gained from the exhibitions and conferences organized by Digital Industries World last June: Macchine Intelligenti (Smart Machines) in Venice (focused on AI) and Macchine Gemelle (Twin Machines) in Turin (focused on digital twin technology).
Regarding the theme of cybersecurity and operational security, Digital Industries World will preview a significant new initiative at the fair: the release of the “Cybersecurity Guide,” prepared by the association’s industry experts, which will be officially presented in the second half of October. This guide will offer an industrial and structured approach to this topic, the result of contributions from members of the “Protected Machines” forum, and will be an essential tool for all machinery companies navigating these new challenges. The urgency of this need is heightened by the upcoming October 17th deadline for EU member states to implement the NIS2 directive, aimed at enhancing the security of information systems, including those related to machine tools.
