In the actual sitation, attention to environmental sustainability and social responsibility have become fundamental for companies that wish to remain competitive. From this perspective, HIWIN Italy offers not only components but also solutions in the mechanical, mechatronic and robotic world, designed together with the customer which can allow an improvement in production performance while safeguarding the environment. The i4.0BS is the world’s first intelligent ball screw designed for machine tools. The system is composed of an Edge Computing Module (ECM) and a nut sensor which, thanks to the Hiwin proprietary algorithm, allows identifying the right moment to lubricate the axes and controlling the lubrication frequency necessary to guarantee that the ballscrews respects the required performances (with a significant saving of oil and grease), to monitor vibration and temperature anomalies and above all to recognize the decay of the preload level of the ballscrew before reaching possible backlash. Finally, the thermal analysis monitors the working temperature of the recirculating screw, with permanent recording of temperature anomalies outside the set range.
The direct drive rotary tables with HIWIN torque motor are equipped with absolute encoders of European production and integrate braking systems. Among these, the direct drive underwater rotary table of the RAS-125E Series has several features aimed at respecting the environment from an ESG perspective: its use reduces carbon emissions, 90% of the material used is recycled and its efficiency is increased by 30%.
The SSA linear axis, however, has the aim of making greater use of the world of linear motors. The best performances are determined by the presence inside the axis of QH series HIWIN linear guideways, equipped with a special cage that separates and holds the balls and guarantees sustainability, linearity, silence and a precision of movement superior to the guides traditional. Furthermore, the lubrication system allows for a reduction in maintenance interventions.
