L’additive nel motorsport
L’additive nel motorsport, scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 9.30 to 17.00, at Villa Griffone – Museo Marconi (Sasso Marconi, Bologna), is the third event approaching 34.BI-MU, the international event dedicated to machine tools, robot, automation, digital and additive manufacturing, to be held at fieramilano Rho from 9 to 12 October 2024.
Waiting to observe more at piùAdditive at 34.BI-MU all the news and the main applications of this increasingly widespread technology, AITA-ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA TECNOLOGIE ADDITIVE, under the patronage of Fondazione UCIMU and 34.BI-MU, organizes this meeting with the aim of exploring the relationship between additive manufacturing and the motorsport industry, two worlds with high rate (and exchange) of innovation.
The motorsport sector has always been a hotbed of innovation, thanks to its nature based on competition between men and means and the desire to go beyond what is thought to be consolidated and unsurpassed. In this context, additive manufacturing has had a significant impact, helping to transform different aspects of vehicle design, production and performance (cars, motorcycles, boats) by affecting key aspects such as: lightness and optimization of the structure, customization and adaptability of performance, reduction of production times, innovations in design, repairs and quick replacements.
The program provides:
- 9.30 registration participants
- 10.00-12.30 round table between manufacturers and users of motorsport solutions
- 12.30-13.30 light lunch
- 13.30-14.30 guided tour of the Museo Marconi
- 14.30-17.00 networking with information desk
